Margaret was born in 1249. Margaret's father was Richard Clare, De and her mother was Maud Lacy, de. Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert Clare, De and Isabel Marshal; her maternal grandparents were John Lacy, de and Margaret Quincey, de.
