David Bowes-Lyon

David was born on May 2nd, 1902. David's father was Claude George Bowes-Lyon and his mother was Cecilia Nina Cavendish-Bentinck. His paternal grandparents were Claude Bowes-Lyon and Frances Dora Smith; his maternal grandparents were Charles Cavendish-Bentinck and Caroline Louisa Burnaby. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Patrick, John Herbert, Alexander Francis, Fergus, Michael Claude, Violet Hyacinth, Mary Frances, Rose and Elizabeth Angela Marguerite. He died at the age of 59 in 1961 in Birkhall.
