Henry VIII. was born on June 28th, 1491 in Greenwich Palace, , England.  Henry VIII.'s father was Henry VII. Tudor and his mother was Elizabeth of York Plantagenet.  His paternal grandparents were Edmund Tudor and Margaret of Richmond Beaufort; his maternal grandparents were Edward Iv. Plantagenet and Elizabeth Woodville (wildville). He had two brothers and four sisters, named Arthur, Edmund, Margaret, Elizabeth, Mary and Katherine.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 55 on January 28th, 1547 in Whitehall, London, England.  He was buried in St. George Chap., Windsor, England.
