Emerich Josef Filip was born in 1766.  Emerich Josef Filip's father was Hugo Jan Filip Stadion and his mother is Maria Anna Schenk-Stauffenberg.  His paternal grandfather was Jan Filip I. Stadion and his paternal grandmother is Anna Maria Faust von Stromberg. He had a brother and four sisters, named Jan Jiøí Josef, Maria Anna, Sophia Helene Walburga, Terezia Franziska Filipina and Bernardina Magdalena Rozina.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 51 in 1817.
