Petr was born in 1572.  Petr's father was Václav Sedlnický z Choltic and his mother is Alena Supová z Fulštejna.  His paternal grandfather is Václav Sedlnický z Choltic. He had six brothers named Jan, Jindøich, Jaroslav, Jiøík, Bedøich Karel and Albrecht.  He died at the age of 21 in 1593.
