Bohuslav Nester's father was Kryštof Hozlauer von Hozlau and his mother is Voršila Fictum, z.  His paternal grandfather was Jindøich Hozlauer von Hozlau and his paternal grandmother is Markéta Raicenšteina, z. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Adam starší, Jindøich starší, Jan Jiøí, Vilém starší, Jaroslav, Kateøina, Alena Justina and Alžbìta.  He died in January 1636 in Dobronice.
