Natalie was born in 1843. Natalie's father was Eduard Haynau, von and her mother was Thekla Baumbach, von. Her paternal grandparents were Wilhelm Karl Haynau, von and Karoline Schack, von. She had a brother and three sisters, named Karl, Bertha, Elisabeth and Thekla. She was the oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named Ludwig, Karoline, Marie, Agnes, Hedwig and Luise. She died at the age of 36 in 1879.
