Eugen August was born on October 2nd, 1869.  Eugen August's father was Adolf Jan Køtitel Dubský z Tøebomyslic and his mother was Sophie Stockau, von.  His paternal grandparents were František Dubský z Tøebomyslic and Eugenie Bartenstein, von. He had a brother and a sister, named Viktor and Marie.  He was the youngest of the three children. He had a half-brother named František Moric.  He died at the age of 15 in July 1885 in Zdislavice.
