František Karel was born on August 17th, 1690 in St. Stephan, Wien.  František Karel's father was Jiøí Humprecht Antonius Bechinie z Lažan and his mother was Maximiliana Salomena Maternová z Kvìtnice.  His paternal grandfather was Kašpar Maximilian Bechinie z Lažan and his paternal grandmother is Salomena Veronika RATSCHIN VON RATSCHIN; his maternal grandfather was Albrecht Bernhard Materna z Kvìtnice and his maternal grandmother is Anna-Maria GRiSLOVÁ Z GRiSLOWA. He had a brother named Václav Kašpar.  He died at the age of 53 on October 15th, 1743 in St. Albert.  He was buried in Pièín.
