Edward was born in 1862.  Edward's father was John Lee and his mother was Catherine Malley.  His maternal grandparents were John Malley and Catherine O'Flaherty. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Mary.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 54 in 1916.
