János was born on June 13th, 1891 in Nádasd and his christening took place there on June 13th, 1891 conducted by priest Cserényi Mihály.1   His godfather was Érsek Antal and his godmother was Érsek Erzsébet.  János' father was Lajos (Ludovicus) Pozsik and his mother was Veronika Kiss (Farkas).  His paternal grandparents were István (Stephanus) Pozsik and Terézia Czifra; his maternal grandparents were Kiss and <Unknown>. He had four sisters named Erzsébet, Rozália, Veronika and Terézia.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died as an infant at 6 months old on January 5th, 1892 in Nádasd 50.1
