Magdolna's father was János Kis Tóth and her mother was Lídia Csáti.  Her paternal grandparents were Bálint Kis (Tóth) and Juliána Székely; her maternal grandparents were Csáti and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and a sister, named Gábor, János and Erzsébet.  She was the second oldest of the four children.  She died due to a childhood disease, vörheny, at the age of 8 on October 8th, 1907 in Aranyos.²
