Borbála was born on March 15th, 1909 in Bekölce and her 'other religuous ceremony' took place on March 19th, 1909 in Egercsehi conducted by notary Szabó János.1   Borbála's father was Lajos Dorkó (Cepe) and her mother was Borbála (Borcsa) Dorkó (Sára).  Her paternal grandparents were Bertalan Dorkó and Rozál Holló; her maternal grandparents were János Dorkó (Sára) and Mária Bóta. She had two brothers and two sisters, named István, Lajos, Veronika and Mária.
