Sir Hastings Hadley D'Oyly (11th Baronet Shottisham) 
Hastings was born in 1864. Hastings' father was Sir Warren Hastings D'Oyly (10th Baronet Shottisham) and his mother was Henrietta Mary Halliday. His paternal grandparents were Sir John Hadley D'Oyly (8th Baronet Shottisham) and Mary Fendall. He had three brothers and a sister, named Edward, Warren, Henry and Florence. He died at the age of 84 in 1948.General Notes

He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Bihar Light Horse.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Defence Corps (Territorial Forces).3 He was Deputy Commissioner of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.3 He succeeded to the title of 11th Baronet D'Oyly, of Shottisham, Norfolk [E., 1663] on 16 February 1921.
