Sir Charles Shirley (3rd Baronet) 
Charles was born on September 9th, 1623. Charles' father was Sir Henry Shirley (2nd Baronet) and his mother was Lady Dorothy Devereux. His paternal grandparents were Sir George Shirley (1st Baronet) and Frances Berkeley; his maternal grandparents were Robert Devereux (2nd Earl of Essex, 3rd Visc. Hereford) and Frances Walsingham. He had a brother named Robert. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 22 on June 7th, 1646.General Notes
He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Shirley, of Staunton Harold [E., 1611] on 8 February 1632/33.
