Here Lyeth the body of Magr. Arthur Noble, who departed this life the 29 day of Aug., 1731, a. 77. It is remarkable He was Loyale, Active and Corragious in the late Revolution in defending Londonderry in 1689 and in storming the fort of the mouth of Limrick, in which restored ye Protestant cause under the Glorious K.W. of happy memory.(Note: In Belfast Telegraph, 12 oct., 1939, Miss Mona Milligan wrote a short article about Major Noble. way. One authority gives him third place among the
chief defendeis.
