Roger de Mowbray 
Roger was born in 1120. Roger's father was Nigel d'Aubigny and his mother was Gundred de Gournay. His paternal grandparents were Roger d'Aubigny and Amice de Montbray; his maternal grandparents were Gerald de Gourni and Editha de Warenne. He was an only child. He died at the age of 68 in 1188 in Tyre, Lebanon.General Notes
Roger died 1188 in Palestine. He joined the Crusade in 1186,
reaching Jerusalem after Easter. Despite truce with Saladin, he remained, while others left. The next year, Saladin invaded Palestine, killing 60 knights. During the campaign Roger was taken prisoner, but later ransomed by the Hospitalers and Templars, dying shortly afterwards.
