William Marshall (1st Earl of Pembroke) 
William was born in 1147. William's father was John Marshal (Marshall of England) and his mother was Sibyl of Salisbury. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert Marshal (Marshall) and Margaret ???. He had a brother named John. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 72 in 1219.General Notes
