Kenneth III, known as The Chief, was born in 0966.  The Chief's father was Dub “The Vehement” (King of Scots).  His paternal grandfather was Malcolm I “The Dangerous Red” (King of Scots).  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 39 in 1005.
