Frederick William III was born in 1770. Frederick William III's father was Frederick William II (King of Prussia) and his mother was Frederika Louisa of Hesse-Darmstadt . His paternal grandparents were Augustus William of Prussia and Luise of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel. He had a brother named Wilhelm. He was the older of the two known children. He had a half-sister named Frederica Charlotte. He died at the age of 70 in 1840.-
