William FitzAlan (of Oswestry) 
William was born in 1105. William's father was Alan FitzFlaad (Progenitor of Stewart Kings) and his mother was Aveline de Hesdin. His paternal grandfather was Flaad of Dol (Dapifer of Dol). He had a brother named Walter. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 55 in 1160.General Notes
