Edward “The Martyr” (King of England)

Edward, known as The Martyr, was born in 0962. The Martyr's father was Edgar I “The Peaceful” (King of England) and his mother was Ælfthryth. His paternal grandparents were Edmund I (King of England) and St. Ælfgifu of Shaftesbury. He had a brother named The Unready. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 16 in 0978.
