Sir Nigel Hadley Miller D'Oyly (14th Baronet Shottisham) 
Nigel was born in 1914. Nigel 's father was Sir Hastings Hadley D'Oyly (11th Baronet Shottisham) and his mother was Evelyn Maude Miller. His paternal grandparents were Sir Warren Hastings D'Oyly (10th Baronet Shottisham) and Henrietta Mary Halliday. He had two sisters named Maude and Beryl. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Charles, John and Marjorie. He died at the age of 86 in 2000.General Notes
He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, in Hong Kong and France.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the The Royal Scots.1 He succeeded to the title of 14th Baronet D'Oyly, of Shottisham, Norfolk
