Elizabeth D'Oyly 
Elizabeth's father was Robert D'Oyly (of Merton; of Adderbury) and her mother was Elizabeth Cheyney. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas D'Oyly and Dame Alice Hall. She had a brother and two sisters, named John, Susanna and Jane. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Robert and Martha.General Notes

I. Elizabeth D'Oyly, married about 1570, to Robert Haslewood, Esq. of Haselbeech, co. Northampton, a member of the Haslewood family of Maidwell, co. Northampton, and of Galby, co. Leicester, whose arms were, " Argent, on a chevron gules between three owls sable, as many lozenges ermine," (some of the family adding thereto "a chief gules, charged with three hazlenuts or;) quartering Marmion, "Gules, a lion rampant argent, crowned or.''[555] The said Elizabeth attests her father's will in 1577, but died s.p.; and the Haslewood family afterward merged in Lord Hatton's.
