Hugh was born in 1662. Hugh's father was Sir William Cholmeley (2nd Baronet) and his mother was Elizabeth Saville. His paternal grandparents were Sir Hugh Cholmeley (1st Baronet) and Elizabeth Twisden. He had a sister named Elizabeth. He died at the age of 3 in 1665.General Notes
