Roger de Beauchamp (1st Lord Bletso) 
Roger's father was Giles de Beauchamp and his mother was Catherine de Bures. His paternal grandfather was Walter de Beauchamp. He was an only child. He died in 1379.General Notes
He held the office of Keeper of Devizes Castle on 26 October 1340.1 On 6 January 1348/49 the manor of Lydiard Tregoz was confirmed to him and his wife.1 He was created 1st Lord Beauchamp, of Bletsoe [England by writ] on 1 June 1363.1 He lived at Bletso, Bedfordshire, England.1 He lived at Lydiard Tregoze, Wiltshire, England.1 He held the office of Captain of Calais in 1372.1 He held the office of Lord Chamberlain of the Household from 1376 to 1377.1 His last will was dated 19 December 1379.4
