Afonso VI (King of Portugal) 
Afonso VI was born on August 21st, 1643. Afonso VI's father was João IV (King of Portugal) and his mother was Luisa de Guzmán. His paternal grandparents were Teodósio II (Duke of Braganza) and Ana de Velasco y Girón. He had a brother and a sister, named Pedro II and Catherine. He was the second oldest of the three known children. He died at the age of 40 on September 12th, 1683.-
