Peter's father was Edgar John and his mother is Barbara Johnson.  His paternal grandparents were Albert Johnson and Florence Lester Bedell. He has a brother and two sisters, named Albert, Tia and Diane. He has a half-brother and a half-sister, named Timothy and Amanda.
