Thomas was born in 1528.  Thomas' father was Johannes Ward and his mother was Elizabeth Ashby (Ward).  His paternal grandfather was Johannes Ward; his maternal grandparents are Robert Ashby and <Unknown>. He had a brother named Robert.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 90 in 1618.
