Ruth was born in 1645.  Ruth's father was Edward Jackson and her mother was Frances Taft (Jackson).  Her paternal grandparents were Christopher Jackson and Susan Johnson (Jackson); her maternal grandparents were Nicholas Taft and Margaret Milner (Taft). She had six brothers and five sisters, named Israel, Margaret, Caleb, Joseph, Jonathan, Sebas, Sara, Hannah, Rebecca, Frances and Elizabeth.  She died at the age of 47 in 1692 in Cambridge, MA.
