Joseph was born on June 6th, 1647.  Joseph's father was William Cheney and his mother was Margaret Cule (Cheney).  His paternal grandparents are Lawrence Cheney and Julian Waldron (Cule).  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 57 on September 16th, 1704.
