Anna was born on May 11th, 1897.  Anna's father was John Fitzgerald and her mother was Ellen (Nell) Ashe (Fitzgerald).  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Ashe and Mary Hassett or Holly (Ashe). She had a brother named James.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died at the age of 87 in 1984.
