Braamfontein Cemetery is a cemetery in Johannesburg.

      The original cemetery was located at the corner of Bree and Harrison Street. It became too small and eventually they exhumed the graves and relocated them to the Braamfontein Cemetery located at the corner of Smit and Graf Streets, Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

      Mary Dearlove was the first person to be buried in the old cemetery in 1887. The Braamfontein cemetery was in operation from 1988 to the early 1960's with some new graves also to be found
