Jan was born in October 1942.  Jan's father was Henryk Wiosna and his mother was Janina Wędzińska.  His maternal grandparents are Michał Wędziński and Helena Myszler. He had a brother and two sisters, named Andrzej, Jadwiga and Sabina.  He died at the age of 62 in 2004.
