David Wood

David was born on December 26th, 1911 in Birkenhead and his baptism took place on January 10th, 1912 at St. Paul's (Tranmere).¹²

Birth Notes

David's father was James Henry Wood and his mother was Ruby Banner. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Wood and Sarah Ann Eddowes. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named Bob, John, Charles, Abraham, Thomas, Stanley, Alexander, Benjamin, William, Lena, Ruby and Lily. He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 90 in 2001 in Surrey.³
