Alice Wainright

Alice was born in April 1771 in Warrington and her baptism took place on April 28th, 1771 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

Alice's father was John Wainright and her mother was Margaret Mather. Her maternal grandparents were John Mather and Ellen Blinstone. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Thomas, Charles, Alice, Margaret and Martha. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
