Rosanna's father was George Percival Thomas and her mother was Rosanna Barker. Her maternal grandparents were Aldred Barker and Rose (Rosanna) Anna Evans. She had a brother and a sister, named George and Fanny. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 74 in August 1995 in Wrexham.²
