Birth Notes

Arthur's father was Henry James Tait and his mother was Alice Dyer Atkins. His paternal grandparents were William Tait and Jane Gawthorpe; his maternal grandparents were John Hind Atkins and Sarah Emily Dyer. He had a brother and two sisters, named Harry, Lily and Gladys. He was the second youngest of the four known children.
