William Stocks

William was born in 1722 in Longwood and his baptism took place on July 15th, 1722 at St. Peter (Huddersfield).¹

William's father was Thomas Stocks and his mother was Eliza Wilkinson. He had two brothers and a sister, named David, Thomas and Martha. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 50 in July 1772 in Deighton. His burial was on July 22nd, 1772 at St. Peter (Huddersfield).¹

  So it appears that William and Sarah both died in the Poor House!

General Notes
- William is possibnly the son of Thomas from Longwood.
  
  William was at Farrtown when he married, and also when Fanny was baptised (i.e. 1747-1748). The family then appear to have moved to Deighton, where Elizabeth, David, and Mary were baptised.
