Birth Notes

Owen's father was Owen Stanton and his mother was Mary Jane Hughes. His paternal grandparents were William Stanton and Catherine Hughes; his maternal grandparents were William Hughes and Lucy Eddowes. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Edmund, Thomas, James, Lucy, Mary, Nora and Agnes. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
