    Transcribed as born in 1844 on 1851 census index (age 1 read as 7).  Actually born 30-Nov-1849.
    
    By 1891, Crossflats has expanded and there was no longer a Lime Kiln Lane in Cross Flats (although a Lime Road can be found).  Mary Jane Smith (b.1854) was visiting Dove family in Crossflats, but probably not the same Mary.
    
    Mother was shown as Pighills on birth certificate (for sister Jane).
