Henry was born in 1847 in Saddleworth.1  Henry's father was William Schofield and his mother was Nanny Buckley.  He died at the age of 74 in 1921.

‌Henry and Fanny were married in a religious ceremony on August 3rd, 1873 in Saddleworth.2  They had four sons and a daughter, named William, Ben, Fred, Ralph and Nannie.  There are possibly more children.
