William Bucley Nield

William was born on December 9th, 1878 in Hooley Hill and his baptism took place on February 9th, 1879 in Audenshaw.¹²

William's father was Rev William Nield and his mother was Martha Buckley. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Buckley and Patience (Patricia) Oldham. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Arthur, John, Herbert, Patience, Annie, Emma and Beatrice. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 75 on March 14th, 1954 in Carmarthenshire.³
