Titus Mather

Titus was born in 1807 in Billinge and his baptism took place on April 26th, 1807 at St. Aidan (Billinge).¹

Titus' father was Richard Mather and his mother was Betty Berry. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and Elin (Ellen) Shaw. He had three sisters named Betty, Hannah and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 33 in June 1840 in Liverpool.²

Death Notes
- The death for Titus Mather in 1856 was registered at Edgworth (EDG/2/366) for an infant, aged 0. However, there is a Will and Probate 6 April 1857 for Police Officer (Formerly Private 59th Foot) at Liverpool.
