Thomas Mather

Thomas' father was Ralph Leyland and his mother was Ellen Hope.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Hope and Elizabeth (Betty) Hambletts. He had a brother named Ralph.  He was the older of the two children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named George, John, Elizabeth and Ann.  He died after 1891 in Lancashire.³
