Wife Elizabeth is only recorded on Alice's 1758 baptism. The only marriage to an Elizabeth prior to 1758 is 14 April 1751 at Prestwich, just before Nathaniel was born.
Thomas a cordwainer and his brother John a weaver were both married at Prestwich the same week. Thomas's father John was also a cordwainer.
On the 14th April 1751, Thomas Mather, cordwainer, married Elizabeth Robinson at St Mary the Virgin, Prestwich.
