Susannah (Susey) Mather

Susannah, known as Susey, was born in 1832 in Birtle.¹

Susey's father was Richard Mather and her mother was Mary Bridge.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Madther and Judith (Judy) Chadwick. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Christopher, Hannah, Mary and Betty.  She was the third oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 74 in December 1906 in Bury.²
