Matthias Mather

Matthias was born in 1829 in Bolton and his baptism took place on August 16th, 1829 at St. Peter's (Bolton).^1 2

Matthias' father was Matthias (Mathew) Mather and his mother was Marcella Honeyford.  His paternal grandparents were Matthias Mather and Mary Priestley. He had a brother and two sisters, named Richard, Mary and Emma.  He was the second youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 50 on October 9th, 1879 in Lytham St Anne's.³
