Mary Mather

Mary was born in 1759 in Little Bolton and her baptism took place on June 24th, 1759 in Bolton.¹

Birth Notes

Mary's father was John Mather and her mother was Jane Holt. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Mather and Ales (Alice) Rothwell; her maternal grandparents were Ralph Holt and Mary Taylor. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, James, Thomas, Ann and Margaret. She was the youngest of the six children.
