Joseph Mather

Joseph was born in January 1816 in Lostock and his baptism took place on January 28th, 1816 at St. Bartholomew (Westhoughton).¹

Joseph's father was John Mather and his mother was Betty Woodward. His paternal grandparents were William Mather and Mary Green. He had three sisters named Ann, Mary and Betty. He was the second oldest of the four known children. He died at the age of 5 in April 1821.

General Notes
- Cant be sure who Joseph was, who was buried at Westhoughton, but probably son of Jeffery, as another Jospeh was baptised soon after this Joseph died, aged 5.
